The villas are situated at Pefkos, near the town of Lindos, an ideal location at the middle of the east coast of Rhodes with easy access to both the north and the south of the island. It is about 50km from Diagoras International Airport and 50km from Rhodes town central port. It is connected to both with the Rhodes to Lindos motorway. Lindos, with its medieval alleys, its ancient monuments and historic houses is considered by many as the most beautiful village of Rhodes. Its imposing castle, dramatically build on top of a steep cliff overlooking the village is Lindos more prominent landmark. Inside the walls, the ancient temple of Athena and other important monuments speak of an age of prosperity, when Lindos was one of the leading shipping ports of the ancient world. Spectacular cliffs give their place to picturesque sandy coves, while the views towards the small lagoon of St Paul (Agios Paulos) are simply magnificent. The Villas are located only 200m away from Plakias beach and the golden sand of Li Beach in Pefkos, once Lindos wine-producing region, 3km to the south. Upper floor verandas have beautiful sea views. To the south of the neighboring village of Lardos is the beautiful coast of South Rhodes, with numerous beaches and coves with crystal-clear waters. Most of them, especially at the far south, remain quiet and serene even at the peak of the tourist season. Towards the north are the equally beautiful, popular (but not overcrowded) beaches of the east coast, such as Vliha, Kalathos, Agathi, Stegna, Tsambika and Afandou and the big tourist resorts near Rhodes Town. A 20mins drive takes you to the Afandou Golf Course. Pefkos is also a convenient base for excursions to the traditional inland villages of the south and to the forested mountains of the centre of the island.
