Giano dell'Umbria is located in the Umbrian countryside outside the popular and well-known routes. Go look at the castle, the church of San Michele and San Francesco and the Abbey of San Felice from the twelfth century. The town has a quaint medieval center, a city wall and remains from the Roman and medieval times. Giano dell'Umbria lies at the foot of the Monti Martani in a hilly landscap with (walking) trails. Make trips to Spoleto, Montefalco, Assisi, Orvieto and Todi. The Marmore waterfalls are spectacular to see.
