Daily essentials can be bought at the stores at 1 km. The town of San Giuliano Terme is 10 km away, where you can get more essential services. For a day of water fun, you have to drive a short while and reach the lake and sea. You can chill out in the furnished garden (private) with a couple of drinks and home cooked meals. Parking is on-site. You can also use facilities like shared washing machine to make your stay more comfortable. Fireplace in the living room adds to the warmth. You can bring your pets here for a nominal fee. A request for cot and high chair can also be made, as it is a child-friendly property. You can check in between 3 - 8 PM and check out between 9 - 10 AM.

Do visit San Giuliano Terme (10 km) with its colorful houses, or the lovely port city of Livorno (30 km), where you can see the local fishermen at work. Pisa (30 km) is also highly recommended. Pisa is well know for its leaning tower, but do cross the bridge. Then you'll get to the real town with lots of great restaurants and beautiful churches. You can also go on lovely bike trips to the nature park of San Rossore (20 km). In Lucca you'll find quaint streets and squares. Restaurant 1 km, supermarket 5 km. There are 8 stylishly decorated vacation homes and apartments on this 3 ha terrain. All apartments have their very own private terrace with seating area. The authentic wood beamed ceilings and original walls are combined with lighter, modern elements. There is a small store where the owner sells artisanal home made olive oil and Tuscan wine, there's also a communal BBQ. Next to Borgo Gallinaio there is a B&B offering breakfast and dinner during the summer months. Wi-Fi at the reception.
