Beautifully renovated village house in the center of the vineyard village of Latour-de-France, in the valley of L'Agly. From the stunning roof terrace you have a panoramic view out across the vineyards of famous wines such as Côtes du Roussillon-Village. It's a wonderful area for walking , with a lovely riverside beach just 300 m away that's idea for cooling off. If you are less inclined towards the sportier side of a holiday, then take the torts train to the village of Estagel (4 km) to explore the area around the valley of L'Agly. If it's famous sites you seek, don't miss the caves at Tautavel (11 km), the high up (quite serious climb to the top) ruined castle at Peyrepertuse near Cucugnan (21 km) and the Catalan city of Perpignan (29 km) Enjoy a day of sunbathing on the wide, white sandy beaches at Barcarès (36 km). Port-Barcarès, caught in between the Mediterranean Sea on the one side and the inland lake of Salses-Leucate on the other (a favorite with surfers) is perfect for those seeking sun, sea and beaches as well as all of the associated sports, games and activities. You can hire bikes in Estagel. There is a baker, restaurants, grocer and playground in Latour-de-France. Romantic and atmospheric village house with lovely natural stone walls. The interior is tasteful and harmonious. Via the hallway, you come out on to a lovely patio with a cozy terrace with garden set, pizza oven, BBQ and two hammocks. Bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Separate toilet. Upstairs: Living room with lounge area, TV, DVD, stereo (radio/CD) and PlayStation. Separate kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and fridge freezer. Second Floor: Bedrooms 1 & 2: each with double bed. (Second) bathroom with shower and (second) toilet. Bedroom 3: a single bed. Roof terrace (25 m²) at the base of the clock tower with garden set and a fantastic view. Air-conditioning. Washing machine. Parking spot 300 m away (you can unload luggage by the front door).
