A large Boulangerie is located in the next village of St Julien de Lampon, 10 minute drive. You will also find a Boucherie, Charcuterie, Bar, and Pharmacy there.

It is advisable to book for dinner, especially on a Saturday evening when the locals congregate to listen to live music whilst enjoying locally prepared food and a glass or two of wine!

Bar Saint Jus, in the village. Tel: 05 53 29 47 41 Excellent pizzas to eat in or take away, plat de jour and burgers. Open every day in peak season, serves as a local café, Tabac and some live music on the terrace on Friday nights. Also has WiFi. Great with kids.

Le Roi Carotte. Tel: 05 53 29 82 33 Excellent local family-run French restaurant, great value for 2 or 3 courses, best to book.

Le Pot Occitan, 39 boulevard Mainiol, Gourdon . Tel: 05 65 41 11 81 Has a nice sunny terrace.

Restaurant de la Bouriane, Place du Foirail. Tel: 05 65 41 16 37 Gastronomic restaurant with a choice of menus between around €25 and €45, or order à la carte. Nice setting and atmosphere. Need to book.

La Marcillande, Le Champ, 46300 Payrignac. Tel: 05 65 41 69 01 Nice little restaurant beside a lake, in the countryside near Gourdon. Lunch around €14 with wine included.
