Ashford Cottage is perched high up on the hillside in a very secluded with magnificent views right across The Usk Valley to the hills beyond. Secluded and remote yet accessible - this is a perfect retreat - somewhere to be able to just sit and look in peace and tranquillity. This cottage ticks the box for a great many people - new on the books so book early as it will soon get very booked for key weeks. Reached up a steep bumpy private track (200 metres) and less than a mile from Talybont on Usk - a wonderful place to stay; it is simply furnished and decorated giving it the perfect feeling of being able to relax in comfort, retaining lots of the original features especially the lovely old black and red quarry tiles and the arched chapel style windows. With walks from the door down the lane and along the canal -it is easy to reach the village and is closest to The Travellers Rest for a wonderful meal -but you need to book in advance.
