After a 3 min drive you come to the village’s center, where you can shop for your daily supermarket necessities. Supermarket, bakery, butcher’s shop, groceries, pharmacy, they all are within close vicinity. A 10 minute drive brings you to the resort of Laganas with its lovely sandy beach, the beach bars and the vibrant night life. Zakynthos town center is 15 minutes drive away, with lovely Alexandrou Roma the main shopping street with its covered parade of fantastic shops. There are stunning little villages to discover and explore, not forgetting the famous “Shipwreck Bay”. Don’t want to drive? No problem your hosts can drive you. A perfect location from which to explore the whole of the island. Activities Lovers of the great outdoors are spoilt for choice, with a wide-range of beach activities, picturesque walks, horse riding, diving and much more. Boat trips to the magnificent Shipwreck bay and the blue caves, Turtle Island or even a day trip to Kefalonia. Wine tasting at winery “Ktima Grampsa” Olive oil and wine tasting, traditional village craft workshops and for the children the askos stone and animal park and waterparks. By boat As an alternative to flying, guests arriving in Athens International Airport can use a shuttle bus or taxi from the airport to Kiffisos bus station. The national coach service “KTEL”, has direct connections to Zakynthos, via a short journey on the Zakynthos-Kyllini ferry. (Total drive time is approximately 4 hours plus 1 hour ferry ride). Ferry boat from Venice, Ancona or Brindisi in Italy to Patras is the alternative for you who travel either by car or train. It takes about 20 hours with the Superfast Ferries from Venice to Patras. Then there is a further hour drive by car or bus from Patras to Killini, from where the ferry boat takes you to Zakynthos town in 1 hour.
