Cozy detached house in the hills of Pistoia. This holiday home consists of four individually furnished apartments so perfect for different families or friends travelling together; the complex is an ancient "inn" completely restored. A convenient parking, a garden with private pool, a terrace area complete the picture. Immersed in nature and in the hills just north of Pistoia, it is ideal for a relaxing holiday and for visiting the interesting surroundings and the rest of Tuscany. The sofa beds can comfortably accommodate two children or an adult. The house is about 20 minutes from Florence and Lucca, Pistoia has much to offer in terms of history, art, monuments, folk traditions, nature and gastronomic specialties. In the picturesque streets of the old town you will find many good restaurants that authentic dishes of Tuscan tradition at fairer prices than most with other Italian cities. The main market of the monumental cathedral square and the surrounding streets twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday morning) and is not to be missed!

The origin of this inn goes far back into the past, when pilgrims from Northern Europe made a stop here along the banks of the river Rino before they would continue their journey to Rome. In 2010 we restored this building full of history and made it a cozy and comfortable place, but retaining the charm. It is situated in the green valley of the Rino, about 1 km from the village of Ponte Petri and 20 minutes from the city of Pistoia, an ideal location to explore the natural beauty of the Apennines, in winter try the ski slopes of Abetone or any time of the year you can go to Florence, Lucca and other cities or just simply drive around to explore Tuscany. The Pistoiese Apennines are a perfect destination for lovers of all kinds of outdoor sports: the area is full of trails for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding, but you've also rivers and lakes for swimming and fishing. During the summer, the region offers a rich program of cultural and entertainment events such as music festivals and folklore, food festivals and medieval festivals. Of great importance is the zoo, one of the largest in Italy and in the area you have the town of Montecatini with its thermal baths, the region is dotted with medieval villages including Collodi, the village of Pinocchio, and the town of Vinci, with its vineyards and olive groves between which the great Leonardo was born and where an interesting museum is totally dedicated to the great inventor / artist. And after discovering the cultural Tuscany or an active day on the slopes of the Apennines, is always nice to put on a relaxing day in the garden of the inn, laze by the pool, or take a walk on the shady paths along the river.
