Villa for rent, available for a few weeks or a few months , situated between the Costa del Sol beaches of the Mediterrannean Sea and the Sierra Nevada mountains (3478 m Mulhacén), Las Alpujarras. in southern Spain, in Andalusia. The villa provides a private swimming pool, fireplace, barbecue and is fully equipped with internet and television, satellites, hifi. It is adapted for handicapped and disabled persons in wheelchairs.
In spite the many attractions available, you can choose instead to spend time with your family or among friends using the facilities available at the Villa: swimming pool, fireplace, barbecue or enjoying the breathtaking views from the terraces. During the time you spend here you can participate in active recreation, relaxation and adventure in a unique setting surrounded by mountains and sea.
This "green roof" bioclimatic house accommodates up to 8 people, and is only 12 km from Almuñécar with its many beaches, 65 km from Granada (Alhambra, flamenco…), 85 km from Malaga (Picasso museum ...); Gibraltar and Tarifa are about 2 hours away.
The property is a rural retreat, surrounded by mountain ranges which stretch along the eastern coast of the Costa del Sol, an area which provides a subtropical climate and the largest tropical fruit crop in Europe (avocado, mango, custard apple, papayas, bananas, medlar etc.)
- Panoramic Living Room
The spacious and bright living room area offers panoramic views (180º). Amenities include fireplace, stéréo, board games, children books, flat screen, satellites and internet access. The lounge adjoins a fully equipped kitchen area with ustensils, pots, dishwasher, oven, gas stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
This familly room has two sofa-beds for 2 people to sleep if needed. In case of big groups, the dinner table can be enlarged to accomodate 10 people.
- Master Bedroom:
The main bedroom is en-suite, and accessible in wheelchair, like the terraces thanks to the patio doors.
If necessary, it is possible to separate the beds in each room, or/and to add one.
This large bedroom accommodates:

- Bedroom of the BBQ terrace:
Big bedroom en suite, accomodates either:

Third room, overlooking the almond trees, lavender and rosemary. Each room has a large wardrobe.

The villa has been designed to allow families or groups of friends including one or two wheelchair users to spend a great time in Spain in the heart of the Valle Tropical (tropical valley), Andalusia. During the construction of the house, we strived to comply with maximum accessibility standards.
The bathrooms (sliding doors) are equipped with grab bars near the toilets and in the showers. The toilets are higher. Space under the sink was left open to allow passage of the legs.
We have also equipped the pool with a crane that allows you to enjoy a good swim.
ADVICE:
The villa is nestled in the hills. The access road to the villa is a narrow 2.5 km path, crossing plantations of avocado and mango trees, with a concrete pavement that has speed bumps and tight turns. impractical in Ferrari or other very low cars. A free space between the frame and the ground of approximately 20 cm is necessary. The types Citroén Berlingo, Renault Kangoo, Partner are quite suitable. Do not hesitate to contact us for more details if necessary.
